Guilty!

Engineer turned up at 4pm (did ring giving me 15 minutes warning).
The new router I was given when I changed to faster wifi appears to be the guilty party.  It is receiving a strong signal but not distributing it properly.  According to his tests, the last time the incoming signal officially dropped was 8th October.  Although I had lots of problems yesterday it has been ok all day today.  Grrrrh!  He said that although he is going to recommend a new router they may be a bit tardy sending one.  I am on the case!
Wiring in the house was given a clean bill of health.

In other news, there was a spell of thunder hail and gale force winds this afternoon.  Now all quiet and lovely blue sky.
