War memorial tidy up

This was taken by a fellow Green Gymmer and I am the lady in purple.  Very satisfying morning albeit a trifle chilly first thing, but my many layers did the trick.  
The extra shows a certificate we have been awarded by a local parish council for all the work we have carried out on their patch.  What was especially welcome was that Dave our leader, who organises where we go was given a personal award for all his hard work.  Round of applause was appropriate, much to the amusement of passers by.  It was brought to us by a couple of our party who went to the presentation ceremony and accepted it on our behalf
