Watendlath

The white house on the right is the fictional home of Judith Paris, the heroine of Hugh Walpole’s Herries Chronicles. My dad chose my name from his favourite book, so I always love to come here. We set off to walk up to Blea Tarn but turned back when the weather took a turn for the worse.
