Chris the decorator

Today we said thank you and au revoir to Chris who has done a sterling a job repainting every room in our new house. We were lucky to find him and grateful that he was able to fit us in before our carpets arrive tomorrow. Bit by bit the house is beginning to feel like our new home.

I spent the morning updating our new address on key agencies and service providers. Some worked well others made me wish I could simply write a letter as I used to do!

On our afternoon walk we had a lovely encounter with our daughter and grandsons walking home from school. Wednesday is the day that the boys love best because mummy is able to collect them. “Like a magnet” is how our six year old describes being “clicked” up by his mum! Happy days!
