Day 16 Level 3 Lockdown Step 1
We had to drive over to the North Shore today to take a defective eBike battery to Jack the Battery Man. Apparently he’s a whizz with batteries so, if it’s possible to repair the battery, he’s the one who can do it. We took my Mum with us for the drive, so she and I sat in the car while hubby dropped off the battery and explained the problem. Then we drove home again. Very exciting!
There wasn’t a chance to take a photo, so today’s blip is of the seedlings hubby’s growing, some of which are ready to be repotted and then, eventually, planted out. They’re doing a lot better than last year’s batch.
There were 102 new community cases today, 8 of which were in the Waikato region and 94 in Auckland. This is the highest number of daily cases from across both years of the pandemic. Another grim record - there are 46 people now in hospital with Covid-19. Seven are in ICU.
