I'm Just Soooooo Unhappy!
As you can see, this little chap wasn't in the best of moods! I don't think it was anything serious though!
In other news, my riding lesson this evening was brilliant. There were only two of us in the class so it was almost as good as an individual one. We practised mostly the sitting trot without stirrups and I loved it! You can really feel the motion of the horse beneath you and it was such a thrill to know I could not only ride a horse without the aid of stirrups but control him as well. I think I impressed the instructor too who said out loud (and I quote) "How graceful does she look!". I was more than a little chuffed I can tell you and, yes, I did feel graceful! I'm now starting to feel that things are coming together now.
In other news, my new riding boots have arrived and they're just not the right fit. This is irritating beyond belief and I don't think I'm going to be able to buy from the internet. Oh well, just need to take a day out to try on boots - what a chore that will be (not!)...............
Ps For those of you who think I am new to this horsey business, I'm not really. When I was about 8 years old, I was a little bit obsessed with horses and had a few riding lessons which I loved. I was the smallest in the class so we used to get the lessons cheaper! My favourite pony was called Bramble and I have a photo of him (and me) somewhere. I'll scan it within the next few days so you can all have a giggle!
