Greater Yellow Legs

Yesterday, a blipless day, was spent in Quincy immersed in some John Adams and John Quincy Adams history, followed by a delightful dinner with medical school friends of my husbands.

On this day, we took a trip with my husband's cousins to the North Shore and Plum Island, to the Parker River Wildlife Refuge, which has beautiful beaches and some nice bird photography opportunities.  I could have stayed there shooting all day, but couldn't inflict that on my companions  so I just managed to get a few shots off before we moved on to other locations and sites and some delicious Lobster Rolls.
