Spoonbill

We've been watching a pair of Royal Spoonbills who live by the creek in front of our rental cottage at Red Rock. At high tide they perch in a paperbark tree (Melaleuca) alongside the creek. At low tide they move to a nearby exposed sand bank (extra), among the seagulls. They are the most inactive birds we've ever seen!
