Sparking Sunshine

It will not be too long before the twisted hazel loses the leaves. They are glowing today.

We received worrying news that Sophie M was unwell and had tested positive for Covid.

She has been double-jabbed and is amazingly fit. This is a young lady who thinks nothing of cycling 60 miles for the fun of it.

Sophie is a teacher working with "special needs" children and is very careful about the protocols governing her position.

She is laid low for a few days and will make a good recovery. However, Euan is being very careful as is the rest of the Dog family.

Today we received a "thank you" card from Sophie and Euan for the recent brunch we had given them when they visited us.

The card is a Moonpig card. They are based in the Channel Islands. The envelope came embellished with a customs declaration!
