Rusty Railing

We went to meet up with our daughter, hubby and the grandchildren this morning - it was in doubt up until yesterday as they were awaiting a PCR test result - which thankfully came back negative. We had coffee and a walk around the ‘shops’ at J32 (Castleford). The girls were very excited to see us again after a period of being housebound with colds / flu / suspected COVID.

Mrs madwill and I went to B&Q for a quick mooch - we bought a new shower head and a (big) bright red planter to put our little tree in by the front door during TSTMNBM. We then popped into Cas town centre to buy some stuff for lunch and took it to our son’s house nearby. Bacon, sausages and bread rolls, with mince pies and chocolate bites - all from M&S - he was quite pleased with that :-)

I popped out for a walk this afternoon, via the Post Office to send some cards - including a new baby boy one for our nephew and his wife…new addition arrived yesterday :-)
