Scotland trip day 24 Spittal beach.

Well technically we are no longer in Scotland as we crossed the English border today at Berwick upon Tweed.

We arrive at the site in beautiful sunshine and pick a pitch with beautiful views across the sea, towards the lighthouse and the Elizabethan Walls of Berwick, (it says an excellent place for photography )and it’s not wrong.


After setting up and a bite to eat we went exploring, the tide was on its way in and there were some beautiful waves crashing into the wall of the lighthouse. 

We needed to stock up on provisions as we have extended our stay from two nights to four.

The last time I was here at Spittal I was five years old and I nearly drowned, hence the reason I have a fear of water .
