Flint and creeper
This morning the spaniel and I walked over the Offham marshes, along the river Ouse to Hamsey then round to Barcombe. In Hamsey I was much taken by the contrast between the monochrome flint wall of a house and its strikingly red creeper. The 'Roman' field in Barcombe hasn't been ploughed yet but I spotted a couple of fragments of glazed pottery on the surface. I collected them for a future rainy day blip.
