Albion

Day two of my etched lino printing course in Bognor Regis. A full day of printing on an absolutely fabulous, and huge, Albion printing press built in 1851. The Albion Press was invented by Richard Cope in the 1820s. After his death in 1828 the business continued under John Hopkinson who made some modifications, hence the name Hopkinson's Albion press.
