Still flowering

Way back at the beginning of September I posted a photo of what I thought was the last Japanese anemone of the year to flower in the 'yard. Wrong! Flowers in profusion during the last 3 weeks, with more buds still to open.

A lateral flow test first thing. Negative, thank goodness. So I went to the new Ladies' Circle. No, not a 'knit and natter' event, and not quite Jake Thackray's Castleford Ladies' Magic Circle (though I could see it heading in that direction...), just a welcoming place to meet new people. Andrea was also there, and we spent a pleasant couple of hours afterwards chatting and drinking coffee.

Time for some tidying and some admin. before MrM arrived home, shattered after his journey and the activities of the last few days.
