Red Sky in the Morning…

…but actually after a bit of spitting it wasn’t too bad for the rest of the day.
We came home today as I wanted to do a Covid test and the kits are in the house.
It was negative thank heavens! Just a sore throat and a cough.

We put smelly Bella in the shower today - she smelled like sweaty socks - that’s when I know she needs a good wash. She tried to sneak in every room to hide on the way to the bathroom. I promised her a treat and she went in quietly in the end. She does understand. She smells sweeter now!

Frank was roasting some walnuts today and nipped to loo. when he came back down they were on fire! He had to put the baking tray outside.
He started again from scratch and made delicious stuffed peppers. I forgot to take a photo of the finished dish as I couldn’t wait to tuck in!

Had a lazy day since we got back - apart from doing my Inktober drawing - and feel an early night coming on!
