Face Time...

With Amelia and Lucy :-D
Amelia showed us her ballet steps and Lucy showed us how she writes her name and numbers, then they took the iPad into their living room to show us the Hallowe'en decorations. Amelia was telling us they are allowed to dress up for Hallowe'en at school but aren't allowed to take any accessories in like hats or broomsticks, so they each have a bat hairband and will wear all black with wings attached to their tops. I think it's so the kids can't swap (swop?) things.
Little Lucy kept telling us how much she loves us and misses us and invited us to her 5th birthday (12th Nov). When I said we couldn't come, she said, 'OK but as soon as Corana virus is gone you can come up! Right?'
They are great fun to chat to.
As usual, when Lucy came on the screen she asked for Granddad!

It's been bucketing down all day but we've had a relaxing time spent doing sketches. I had already done my inktober one (prompt - Dig) but just wanted to practice doing kids faces from various angles. Then I did a sketch of Frank. I showed it to Amelia and Lucy and didn't say who it was but they immediately said 'It's Granddad!' So that was good.
