Autumn at Hill of Tarvit.
Today was busy from opening time until after closing time.
The Blipfoto shows the balcony which leads from Mrs Sharp’s bedroom. From here she could look over Rose Garden.
I have also attached an extra photo which was taken in 1982. Of course, much processing and faffing has been today to obtain an acceptable.
I took this with my Pentax SP500 and shows our house as we viewed it for the first time. Also it is a small print rather than the original film.
Like Holmwood House which we visited yesterday the original colour and decoration had been covered over with beige paint.
We restored the original colours after a great deal of effort to remove the awful beige.
The debris lying about the floor was caused when the original pews were gifted to another church in the Western Isles and removed by people who had more enthusiasm than joinery skill.
