Dancing Grebes

The eggs score at the artificial island so far is 4 to the Great Crested Grebes and a possible 7 to the swans. I only managed to get a brief glimpse and one photo of the eggs when the swan lifted itself just far enough to turn them.

While I was at the island this afternoon I also spotted one Coot getting of its nest which had at least 4 eggs in it and another quite ambitious one that eventually managed to add a very large twig to its more hidden nest. Already spoilt for choice for today's blip, I was also able to get a few shots of the second pair of Great Crested Grebes while they were doing their courtship dance.
