Sigtuna and Uppsala

We woke up after a good night sleep around 08.00 am and first enjoyed a nice breakfast. The hotel is situated on a golfcourse and isn't very busy. Just a few guests. A totally relaxed atmosphere. The morning light outside was georgous. See the photo in the extra section with the birches on it. Need I say more. It was the view from our room.

After breakfast we started with a nice 5 km walk nearby in a forest and then we went a bit north to visit Sigtuna, Sweden's oldest city. 
We strolled around for a while, had our first FIKA of the trip and around lunchtime we drove to Uppsala.
A beautiful city with a huge cathedral and pink castle. We stayed there until after dinner. Back at the hotel around 22.00 pm.
