Aljafería Palace
A bit more city culture today - had a lovely wander - only allowed one hour - around the Aljafería Palace. It is the only remaining example of a large building of Hispanic Islamic Architecture from the Taifa Period
from around the 9th century.
The rooves in the various rooms were outstandingly wonderful - sadly the tour was totally in Spanish so I understood about one word in a hundred, but seeing it was still fabulous. The light was not good for photos either but.. . . .
I also wandered around the old Bullring - a masterful piece of architecture that I am very glad to report is not used any longer
