Sad day

One of our original swimming group members sadly died earlier in the month after a short illness. It was a blessing in disguise as she was slowly showing signs of dementia which would've been even more devastating for the family. 
Her life celebration was in a tiny church way out in the country so it seems like the whole day has disappeared.  A well attended service, followed by  a lovely celebratory lunch in the village hall.  
Several members of the old swimming club made the effort to attend which was fantastic - good to see them too, as the 'original' pool has shut down so we only seem to meet for birthdays or funerals!
Home in time for the end of Tipping Point...
