Hello Molly

This morning was a bit chaotic. Mike had cycled to work but when I got Eva up she was coughing and snotty and not up for school. (We've done a Covid test and it's clear) As I can't work from home, I had to go and get Mike back home from work before i could go to work. Eva went back to bed and slept till 1.30pm!!

I had a nice dog walk at Beacon hill. Then rode with Juliet this afternoon. Turned into a beautiful day.

Zoe rang the booking agents regarding the cottage and they said they were going to look into it and agreed the owners sounded unreasonable. Interestingly the owner told us the agency had photos of 'the state of the cottage' but they were obviously lying as the agency haven't got them. I wish we'd taken photos of it now but we've never had a problem like this before. We didn't Hoover, dust or mop before we left but it wasn't left in a state and I don't expect to pay what we did for a holiday cottage and then have to clean it as well! The owner came back to Zoe yesterday and said she would "waive" the charge for having a dog there! So she still doesn't believe that we didn't have a dog there!! Crazy woman.
