Grey Heron

Another early visit up to the loch. The young one spotted me early from her tree and flew over. (The extra is a shot I tried to get of her flying over but I was too far away it does show her wingspan though - I didn't notice the other 2 heron on the trees). The shot is just after she landed and was watching me open her fish box. She was hungry again and ate the bulk of her fish, although I did save some very small bits for a coot, moorhen, 2 crows and the magpie (the fishmonger is soo happy)!
