Whoosh

There was hardly anyone on the platform this morning. Normally it's full of little diagonal queues waiting for the 7.05. I get on the 6.55. We just collect in groups. My train stops twice. The real commuters can't be delayed by two stops. Plus my train has smaller seats and they just might have to rub thighs with someone.

This is the completely empty train that whooshes through before mine. And of course at the moment the wind following it is freezing.

The sun came out today and everyone smiled briefly.
