Autumn planting

The lupins had done well but now bedraggled. A visit to Pentland Plants gave me the idea of combining plants with more subtle colours. So the star is Cordyline Australia’s ‘Red Star’ flanked by two mini yellow bushes which I realised when I got home, I had a large bush (doh). The picture this app identified it as a Mexican Orange but as the big bush has never flowered I ‘have mi doots’. 
So added a primula and picked up two more mini plants that had self seeded. One the left I think a hebe and on the right the green shoots of the plant equivalent of the little brown bird, ie I haven’t a clue
