Arachnid Napery

It was my Dad's 84th Birthday a few days ago but he had been a bit under the weather. As he was feeling better today he came over for Sunday lunch - a very untraditional Chinese take-away followed by chocolate cake.
We had a lovely relaxing afternoon just chatting and enjoying the food. He said he still can't believe that he's actually 84. I would have taken his portrait but he's not keen on having his picture taken.
Therefore, I've had to resort to yet another emergency blip - today's image is a section of a hand stitched tablecloth that was sitting out on our sideboard. With the light coming in through the window it highlighted the shapes and colours and if you squint they do look a bit like spiders!
