Building Sn3 and N Worlds

Double Headed DSNGRR

Today on our walk we got unclose to something that does not happen very often.  This season the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad has been running one train with double headers pulling 15 cars.  It was fun to hear the engineers talking via their train whistles, and the sound of them passing was wonderful.  Rocking and rolling, spitting, and making noise,

The lead is a K-28 and the second locomotive is a K-36.  Lots of ponies there.  And the train was full.  Good for the railroad, good for Silverton, and good for Durango.
