Up in the mountains

Today my son and I toured across the mountains in the neighbourhood of Chania; the region just behind the city, what's up some 400-600 meters and we got over a few passes where the clouds almost kissed us.

The weather did change over the past 2 days, from that lovely Indian Summer, was sunshine and warmth, into full Autumn feel, with rain and temps below 20C.

When we passed from the village Drakona the narrow mountain road was loaded with parked cars; when we got to the village centre with the church, we learned that all had come to the funeral of one of their friends and relative for some ~  it's most common that the people from villages come together at highlights in life, like marriages and funerals.
