Tuesday: Heading Up

I’m having a bit of a challenging time at work.  I’m having to cover something that normally my assistant, who recently resigned, and another colleague, who is away on a duty trip, which would have worked on between them. It’s complex and all a bit stressful, particularly when you’re two people down.

I had lunch out today with someone I hadn’t seen in nearly 18 months.  And yesterday the number restrictions were lifted.  I think I’m fairly relaxed about things, whilst observing rules, but even I thought it was a little odd to be among so many people.  Still, I’m glad we’re moving forward and we’ll get used to it again.

At least our lunch venue had a nice interior.
