Almost Overlooked

Sunny and mild with wind gusts most of the day. Hubby had his first physical therapy appointment at 8:30 am so we were up early. We’d already been up at 3 and 4 am for meds. There was only time for toast before we had to get out the door. The therapist was elated that hubby could flex his knee to 105 degrees so soon after surgery. I made a late brunch when we got back. We spent the day following our post op checklists but a few items lapsed because there are just too many. After washing a load of laundry, I updated my Christmas shopping spreadsheet that keeps me sane during the holiday frenzy. The therapist forgot to give hubby his latest exercise sheet so I ran back to his office. I was surprised to see three small azalea bushes with beautiful blooms but hardly any leaves. Simply did not see them this morning. Some azaleas are deciduous but these looked like the typical spring blooming variety. Not sure if the plants are dying, have a disease or something else is causing their leaves to drop. Hubby overdid it today and he is really in pain at the moment. He can take his next pain meds in two hours so maybe then we will have a quiet evening. Thanks for dropping by with all your well wishes, you are a special group of folks. Stay safe.
