Comfort supper

Having been to FABS which I always went to with Amanda who loved the class and the teacher, Lucy, she told the class at the end that Amanda had died! She was very upset as they all were and thereafter I got the bus to go home but realised I had to tell another friend in person so I stopped by to tell her!

She was as shocked and disbelieving as the rest of us but she had spoken to her on Monday for which I was very glad as was she. She then asked me to stay for supper which was very kind and we had comfort food, turkey stir fry with green pepper onion and mushroom and potato’s and carrot and some cabbage and red wine to wash it down after a starter of crisps and hummus.

Another mutual friend who has just joined blip, conabike, sent me a lovely picture of Amanda which I will add to extras! RIP my friend.
