Kowhai Shadow
It was fun to catch up with my photography group over coffee this morning, and we wondered how much longer we will be able to, with COVID starting to spread its tentacles ….
This afternoon, I went to U3A and heard 2 brilliant speakers - wife and husband team- Rosemary and Mike Riddell. What fascinating stories they had to tell of their lives. They have both written books; made 2 movies, she has recently retired as a District Court Judge - they shared the highs and lows of their life together in such an entertaining way. I bought Rosemarys book “To Be Fair- Confessions of a District Court Judge” - it’s very readable. They now live in a small Central Otago community of 35 people- with at least 18 of them writers, painters or poets.
A beautiful sunny day. This photo is of a sculpture in our garden that is next to a Kowhai tree.
