Getting Halloween ready

Daughters # 1 and 2 went to Greenwich today to meet friends with their children.  A good time was had by all apparently even though Violet was troubled by a very bruised finger, which you might just be able to spot on her left hand in this hasty phone pic.  She hurt hurt finger yesterday when she accidently caught it against a radiator.  After some medicine, some treats and a quick examination by Mr MC (who has actually broken a number of his fingers playing cricket) she was feeling brave enough to let her mummy cut shape and paint both her toenails and fingernails.  Her colour choices are influenced by her love of all things Halloween!
In other news:  Rishi Sunak presented his Autumn 2021 Budget this afternoon.  I don't suppose much of it will affect Mr MC and myself, although the prospect of prosecco being cheaper is appealing!  Follow my link if your are interested in learning more.
