En el zoológico.
The little local zoo will be closing soon for the winter, so I wanted to check it out for the last time - usually a frequent season-ticket visitor, but not this year for obvious reasons. Although several of the animals are gone, a number of new ones are there, and the whole place is looking wonderful and well-tended. The animals are not in cages but landscaped secure environments, and always seem very healthy and happy. They are mainly rescued or endangered species, and the place is on a farm run as a family business. Too many shots to choose from, but I include one of the lemurs (above), with as extras the retired Menorcan horse, a pair of prairie dogs nest-building in their labyrinth of tunnels, and a work in progress, a lovely mosiac wall showing many of the creatures resident there.
