After the storm
Yesterday it just didn't stop raining so this evening when the sun peeked out I took the camera (in the new bag - woo!) and went to see how the Avon Water was doing. P had come home with tales of the commute route to work being under water and there was nearly not a riverside path. Luckily the Avon hadn't breached the banks, but further downstream where it met the Clyde there seemed to be some flooding. One possible blip was of the railway bridge and it looked like I'd done a long exposure on the water to make it go all soft, but it was just running that fast...
Anyway, it was a bit dark to get a good shot of the swollen Avon Water, but the sky was pretty epic so here goes. Spent the rest of the evening carving pumpkins and I'm sure they'll be making an appearance at some point.
