Duxford

Family trip to Duxford today, you could say it was a success. The husband was in his element, the boys were pretty happy and I found it interesting enough (about the best I can muster I think!) 

The boys loved the Battle of Britain hangar and loved being 'commanders' in charge of who was sent to the air-raid shelter.  We also had a fascinating talk from a volunteer who experienced the blitz (no sweets until he was 14!) 

Today I'm grateful for:
A lie-in, it's saved the day today! 
The engagement from the boys and how much they loved it 
Happy family day
