To Edinburgh and back today

Things have been busy here lately, hence my backblips for the last two days..... just catching up.

Today we took one of our daughters back down the road to her flat in Edinburgh and came back home in time to cook tea.
It was quite a pleasant dry day here in Inverness I think, but in Edinburgh it was a really wet, grey one....as you can see from my photo of the Queensferry Crossing.

There were some fantastic skies and sunset backdrops as we drove back through the Highlands. The autumnal trees were pretty spectacular too, but didn't manage to snap any of them quickly enough from the moving car!
