Vicious Doggy

There were some more standard (and flattering) photos of my dog Uuna, but this is more interesting. I'll link you to my second blip ever for a photo of her looking less aggressive. Photo taken in the same woods.
I gotta say, with long days of sitting in front of a laptop, going for walks with Uuna (and my grandma sometimes) is probably what's keeping me sane! I find it's when I make the most progress on my work as well, as it gives me time to think over it while not actually staring at it. No distractions, just fresh air. Listening to music for half the day is also getting a bit numbing, in the sense that I'm wearing out a lot of mixes, which I hate doing! I'm actually wearing out whole genres at a time, rather than just songs or artists. Damn.

Back to today. With dynamics mostly out of the way, I got to work on NRAGE, my project (of which I am still very proud of for the witty anagram). After several weeks left alone, I was actually quite happy to get back to it. I enjoy working with Simulink, and I got a lot of progress done, going through several iterations of the tricky bits and finally solving them.

All in all, I'll have gotten a significant workload off my shoulders before going back to uni, but I'm very happy to be spending some time in Paris and sailing soon. Gonna be good!

________

My blip from now on will be used to unload some less known music I think a lot of people might enjoy hearing, for anybody who's quite open-minded about music and looking for new stuff.
Now I'm not a big fan of Prince, but with Queen's of the Stone Age covering him, I can't think of anything going wrong. In my mind, the combination of suave groove rock elements from both sounds perfect, not to mention Homme's voice. Here's a cover of It by Josh Homme & PJ Harvey, from the legendary The Desert Sessions, found on the Crawl Home single. Gonna be a favorite for the next couple weeks, I can tell.
