Golden on the ground.

Everything is drenched. But very beautiful just now.
I had a short visit inside my son and N's house - slow steps towards more normal connection.
I brought orange cakes, wee cakes for my big grandson and a some lovely small ornamental pumpkins that had grown in the garden.

It was a nice time in the middle of so much covid related anxiety still present in my family . We are so fortunate to be vaccinated - personally, the lack of family contact is far worse than the anxiety of covid.
I think this winter is still going to be very difficult.
