Fireworks from yesterday

Yesterday I went to watch the fireworks display at Lensbury with a couple of friends from the Ham side of the river. As usual it was a very good display and nice to see the reflections in the water. There were quite a few boats moored up with ‘ parties’ on board who had come to watch. Last year there was no display and when I went to watch the year before there were many many more people watching, maybe word had not got around this year as it is early.
I know of two local schools who are having displays next week and the week after but will not be watching those!

Today while walking the dog by the same part of the river there was so much sporting activity…rowing, canoeing, sailing ( not much wind for their race so it was hard going for the sailors at Thamesis- see extra) and I also saw football, netball and beach volleyball nearby too.
