Proud Parents

Today was the main motivation for coming to England just now - Deb graduated, with distinction, from the Master's Degree in Theological studies that she finished over a year ago. Working a job, raising two small children, and the global pandemic, with all the disruption that caused - she's done well, and we are proud of her. As the speaker said, may she use all she gained in her studies to go out and bless others. (Actually, she already is.) And not just know, but do the right thing, however hard.

Gratefuls:
- brilliant weather for it, pouring this morning, but sunshine streaming into St Martin's (Birmingham's most ancient church) for the whole ceremony (here she is in front of the west window)
- that we were able to be here, in the flesh, for this celebration
- a Syrian feast afterwards
