Good Friday - fish on the menu

A definite improvement in the weather. The snow is slowly disappearing and we saw a bit of sunshine. A pair of great-crested grebes have been hanging around on the small lake in one of our local parks (already covered in Park Life) so I decided to see if I could get a photo. Got quite a few actually, but the park is in a hollow which makes the light very difficult and I ended up with some with both birds displaying, but in poor light, and others of a single bird in better light. As one of the birds came up with quite a large fish, I decided that had to be the blip.
In other Sheffield bird news, the peregrine nest now has 2 eggs! Go George and Mildred!
