Hallowe'en

H was so excited that she woke up an hour early, wiping out our clocks-changing lie entirely! I then failed repeatedly to explain the meaning of 'Trick or Treat' and 'Guising' to H. In the end I just told her it didn't matter; all she had to do was tell a joke and receive a sweetie as payment.

At first I thought there might not be any other kids looking for sweets. How wrong was I!? None left for the grown-ups.
