El Rastro

After our extra hour in bed (clocks went back here too) we finally tracked down the flea market (Rastro) and bagged ourselves a couple of bargains. Not this gas mask (although might have been useful!) but some vintage cookware. The gas mask was about as scary as it got today. Rain first thing and then baking hot. Reached 28°c. Luckily the Rastro is now by the beach so we enjoyed more live music (acoustic pop rock) at the Ice Factory with tasty tapas and then a walk along the shore in the afternoon. Home for a brief rest and shower and then off to Mass in the evening for All Saints. Went to Santa Catalina, my favourite church in Valencia (so far anyway). Beautiful sung service with great guitarists.
