Here Comes the Bride…..Again

There seemed to a wedding conveyor belt happening in this church today. One wedding was barely over (bridal party still outside) while a new wedding was about to start! I did feel sorry for the brides as unusually for Valencia, it was cloudy today with the odd spot of rain. Given the weather, Mr P and I opted for culture. Exhibitions in Spain appear to be either very cheap or free. We visited the National Ceramics Museum in the morning (too Rococo/opulent) and then a photography exhibition about the women’s movement during the Spanish Civil War (very good). After lunch and our usual siesta (how will we cope without it) we soaked up the atmosphere in the main squares and enjoyed some street art. Very busy (Monday is another Public Holiday in Spain) but surprisingly hardly any sign of Halloween.
