Ullswater

This morning I made Veronica’s Springfield pear cake with all the pears I got from my neighbour recently and I had a lovely catch up with Callum on the phone and was delighted to hear his news. I was excited to tell his dad so went up the Fell to pass on all the news and the grasses whooshed it on super fast into the ether in the high winds up there. I then got a thorough soaking so headed back down for tea and pear cake.
