And away………

We didn’t expect to get any ‘trick or treaters’ last night as there are only three houses past ours along the road, it’s pitch black as we don’t have any street lights, and the builder’s compound opposite rather puts people off walking this way.  Nevertheless, we put the wicked witch and haunted house on display and had an emergency stash of sweets in case we got a visitor.  Sweets carefully chosen, of course, to be the ones we’d rather not have given away anyway.

The haunted house is now back in the garage and the wicked witch is sleeping it off on the study floor until next year.
