RNLI hovercraft

Seven of these H class hovercraft have operated for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute since 2002 in four areas where conventional lifeboats cannot operate such as shallows, tidal mudflats, and soft sandy estuaries. The calendar photo is of H 005 "Hoylake Spirit" operating out of Hoylake station an estuarine area in the north west of England the other craft based at Morecambe, Southend on Sea and Hunstanton on the Norfolk coast.
