Reflections

On the second day of winter it was a relief to go for a walk in the sunshine after the rain of the last few days.
 
But I had misjudged how quickly it gets dark and found myself walking around our local reservoir in semi darkness.
 
Fortunately I felt safe. There are some parts of the UK where it would be considered risky.
