Stag and hinds

This morning I went to Powys Castle with the birdwatching group.  We saw a red kite being mobbed by crows,sparrowhawk and a little grebe but otherwise very few birds around.  The autumn colours were looking beautiful in the sunshine and we saw these deer plus a large herd in a field close by.  They look a contented group relaxing under the tree.
